That is the song that is on the radio right now and I couldn’t think of a title. It is on the newest station in town Charlie FM, while we were in Eugene we found it’s brother station Bob FM.
This seems to be the new thing in radio format, no dj’s (yeah), a wide variety of music. The other day I heard Garth Brooks, The Macarena, Billy Idol, ABBA and KISS all in a row. Sounds like one of my homemade CD’s except for the Macarena.
This week has been pretty busy. I have been sorting books like crazy and trying to figure out how to get more people to buy so that we can make room for the even more we have in the back room. What we have in the store is the tip of the proverbial iceberg. We have had 25% off sales and today and tomorrow everything is 40% off. On July 23 everything will be at least 50% off (probably more).
Ruth Ann is coordinating a wedding for this Sunday and she is making the brides dress and the grooms Hawaiian shirt. She had a review at work and they couldn’t think of anything negative to say about her and she is getting another raise. We are going out tonight to celebrate. We are going to try a Japanese called Ichidai. I don’t care if Terry Bradshaw calls it bait, I love Sushi.
Dan and Dave are out of school for the summer and enjoying summer vacation very much. They have been watching movies and just hanging out.
So Brick House was followed by Friends in Low Places.
Wow, things I miss about not living near a big city: progressive anything. Your radio station sounds great.
I can’t wait for the book sale! I told you I’m bringing an extra suitcase, and I wasn’t kidding.
Did you tell me where Ruth Ann is working now? She’s so valuable, of COURSE she got a raise. She’s Wonderwoman to your Captain America, but you already know that.
I love sushi, too. Like we’re gonna listen to Terry Bradshaw! =o)
Kel, see works at the main Goodwill store in Portland. She is officially the merchandiser for new goods, but she also makes displays out of the clothes. Which are usually so good that she has to redo them every five or ten minutes because someone has bought the stuff.
