This is the journal entry that wasn’t about the weekend that wasn’t a weekend. I worked all day at my friends’ Baseball Card shop, I am glad the family had a great time at the game, because it was one of the most boring days I have ever had working anywhere. I had 5 customers between 10 and 6 and I think I spent more than 3 of them. I did watch part of two movies that I really liked Stephen Kings’ IT and Pure County with George Strait. I had forgotten about the big name cast of adults in IT, John Ritter, Harry Anderson, Tim Reid, Dennis Christopher, Richard Masur and my personal favorite, Annette O’Toole. Seth Green and Johnathan Brandis are two of the kids and Tim Curry is great and very scary as Penny Wise the Clown.

When I got home Ruth Ann was working on the program for the wedding today. We finished that up about 11PM. This morning Ruth Ann got up at 6:30 and did some sewing. I got up and went to one of the boys’ beds because they weren’t there. When I awoke at 9AM there was a new Hawaiian shirt waiting for me. Ruth Ann is truly amazing. After that I took her to the wedding reception hall and I went to a copy center and copied and cut the pages for the program. Then we went to the couples’ home and assembled the programs. Then we came home and changed clothes and went to the church, Ruth Ann got everyone inside the church and we went to the reception hall. Just about the time everything was ready there people started showing up. It was a great time and I had a great time talking with people. I realized that if you are willing to talk about baseball, California or reading I will talk to you as long as you want.

I am looking forward to spending some time talking with our friends Scott and Kelly late next month. See ya soon.
