To Quote Louie the Great, OH YEAAAH

7 Deadly Wonders
7 Deadly Wonders by Matthew Reilly; 2006; Simon & Schuster, New York; 392 pages; Fiction Reilly/ISBN 0-7432-7053-3; 1/12-1/12

The Ozman has done it again. Reilly has scored another action story. Jack West heads a multinational group of commandos who help raise a small girl from birth to 10 so she can help them read an ancient language. The team races a European team, an American team and some freelancers to capture the seven pieces of the capstone of the Great Pyramid of Gaza. The capstone has mystical powers which will set the course of history for the next 1,000 years. Most of the so called civilized countries are the bad guys. The action is so intense and great that I finished it in a day foregoing an evening of television. RRRR

The book released throughout the rest of the world is “7 Ancient Wonders”, however they had to change the title for the dumb American audiences who wouldn’t have been able to figure out why the wonders were deadly as they read the book.
