Reverse Engineering for fun

The Ways Toys Work by Ed Sobey and Woody Sobey; 2008; 178 pages; Chicago Review Press, Chicago, IL; 978-1-55652-745-6; 6/3/09-6/4/09

These two guys took apart toys from the Aerobie to a yo-yo to see how they work.  They give a little history of the  item then explain how it works and then take it apart and show you all the pieces.  Etch a Sketch is dirty, an 8 ball has a 20 sided dice  (10 positive, 5 negative and 5 vague messages) and Billy the Big Mouth looks extremely weird without his skin.  They also tell you if you can make the toy yourself and if so how.  A quick interesting read.  RRR
