While waiting for the brakes and tires to get done at Les Schwab I perused this collection of old ads.  These are not outrageous claims of today, but ads from the late 1800’s to the 1970’s that appear outrageous to our sensibilities.  Some of these ads are funny but what really makes this book enjoyable is Ms. Parkers’ comments about the ads.  It would be interesting to read an update of this book in 3009.  RRRR
