This lavishly illustrated volume is exactly what it says it is, a time line.  There are probably over a thousand women here whom have all contributed to all aspects of culture in the United States.  There were many women here who I had not heard of and those which I had were different photos than usually used.  I was dissapointed not to see Barbara Roberts or Penny Harrington here.  Grade-A
