Monday Music

During the summer of 1981 I worked at a camp in Bellingham, WA with my brother and one of my sisters.  It was a day camp and we had some free time in the evenings.  Sometime that summer I was introduced to a Canadian band called Doug and the Slugs.  They are somewhat similar to Huey Lewis and the News, but with a little  bit more wit.   The band was started by a newspaper editorial cartoonist, who was the lead singer until his death in October 2004.  A couple of my favorite songs are Dangerous and Too Bad and Making it Work
